Introducing David of Team Assumption

David is one of our new Team members who will be working at the Assumption Brother Andre's. I got to know him as he trained here at the 'original' BA's! It will be exciting to see David as a part of a whole new group of employees. (Don't you worry, I'm gonna blog about them all.)

David insists that he already loves being a barista- a beast on the Espresso machine! I bet he might even create his own drink someday. (Hmm.. I wonder if he would choose creamy rich or seriously dark?) For now, David settles for a Decaf Latte as his go-to drink.

When I asked David my famous "What is your favorite part of Brother Andre's?" question, he said, "The people!". Of Course. (Are you catching on yet?) I am not even surprised- haha!

David lives in Baden and belongs to St John and Paul Parish, and so do I. In fact, I've seen David and his family there. I've had the pleasure of meeting his sister and her husband, and their daughter, David's niece. They're all so nice, and I look forward to getting to know them better. Some of David's family lives in Connecticut. That's his favorite place to visit, he loves to go and always has a fantastic time - just catching-up.

Exercising, listening to music, and watching sports are David's big three interests. I think these are some great ways to spend free time. When David runs on the treadmill, I bet the music he listens to  motivates him. Watching games on TV is an important part of life to most Pittsburghers - so I completely understand. David particularly likes Football, the Steelers and Ben Roethlisberger. Of course he does. (My mom and I watch the Steelers a lot. We, like most fans, feel especially happy when they win.) Some other sports David likes are Hockey and Basketball. The Pens have Hockey covered but I wonder what Basketball Team David likes.

David's television favorites do not end with sports- he told me that he also likes 'Friends'. So many people have mentioned that show- which must have been a little before my time. I'm going to have to see it and decide if I think it's so great! 

David is a wonderful addition to our Brother Andre's Team. We can't wait to see where this job takes him.
