I'd like to introduce Emily. She is one of our Team members at Assumption. Emily and her family discovered Brother Andre's through the Fitzgeralds, as they go to the same Parish - Sts. Martha and Mary.
Emily loves greeting customers. Let me tell you, I've seen Emily's smile and it definitely has a way of lighting up a room. I bet all the customers love seeing her smile. Emily considers herself an expert at sweeping. That's impressive. Although, according to her Mom, she doesn't like to do it at home. I guess it's different when you're getting paid (hahaha).
Emily has lots of favorites in life. First and foremost is the BA treat -the gluten free peanut butter cookie. I heard that opinion from many people. My Dad absolutely loves those cookies. Whenever he comes to the Cafe, he always has to get one. Sometimes, he even tries to steal my shift cookie. Sorry Dad, I just busted you!
Emily is a foodie, pizza and french fries are her favorite. Those are some delicious choices. My favorite place to get french fries is Five Guys because they are fresh cut. I wonder if Emily prefers some specific fries. Emily also likes some offerings at the Mall Food Court. My favorites there are Chinese or Panera. I wonder what Emily's are.
Speaking of the Mall, Emily and her Mom love to walk there in the winter because it has so much open space. Maybe they walk and shop at the same time! But when the weather is warm, they love to walk outside. I don't blame them, I absolutely love being outside any chance I get.
Some of Emily's other interests include music. She loves all music but her favorite genres are Country and K Pop. I absolutely love that Emily loves music because I love it too. I listen everyday; maybe she and I can exchange musical artists.
As far as TV shows go, for Emily- "Dancing with the Stars" is right up there. I was told she has no favorite contestants; she just likes watching the show (and loves each contestant equally). What a great mindset! I've seen "Dancing with the Stars" a couple of times and it seems pretty good. I'm so happy that Emily enjoys it.
Emily and family love the Outer Banks. I've been and could not agree more! Laying on the beach is so relaxing. Letting the sunshine and waves wash over you is the greatest feeling in the world. I hope Emily enjoys herself and gets a great tan.
Emily is a wonderful Team member who works very hard. We are so lucky to have her! Next time you go to Assumption and you see Emily, please say 'Hi'.
